This film is a remake of the Hong Kong film "Infernal Affairs" which stars Andy Lau and Tony Leung. It is based on the rivalry between the Massachusetts Police Department and an Irish-American Gang. A Gangster is chosen to infiltrate the police as a young cop is chosen to infiltrate the gang.
